Simple Showerhead Mod
Problem #1: During shower, Agile's showerhead spray pattern automatically reverts back to normal center aerated spray when the water is turned off. Most people including myself will turn the water off and on when showering to save water. An easy fix to prevent it from reverting to normal spray is to remove the spring from the spray selector button inside the showerhead as pictured below.

Problem #2: RT Agile's showerhead bracket is fixed and non-adjustable. I replaced it with an angle-adjustable bracket from BB&B store (pictured below). For $7.99, this is one of the cheapest and easiest mod I did.

Hi RT SS,
ReplyDeleteInterestingly, in our Agile we have found that showering without the spray engaged works best for us. The larger stream is easier to control and rinses quicker, perhaps conserving water. Clean up is easier as less overspray occurs.
Love your blog!
Thanks for the kind words. The larger center stream on ours is really weak, I have to literally position myself under the stream while rinsing thus rinsing takes a bit longer. You are right that the jet spray pattern creates more overspray but it mimics our house shower which I got used to and like.
